
I live in Brighton where I work as an independent assessor and trainer in assistive technology. I'm also a student Occupational Therapist at the University of Brighton.
I have been working in the field of assistive technology since January 1999 when I started as a technician in two special schools in Ipswich.
Since that time I have worked with clients of all ages and across a wide range of difficulties, from motor neuron disease to dyslexia. I am passionate about using technology to improve the lives of people with disabilities - especially for youngsters with severe physical or cognitive disabilities. I run a popular website that's full of resources and advice for people with disabilities and those that support or care for them.

I have been enjoying photography as a hobby since I was given the opportunity to develop my own film at sixth form. As the years have gone by I have become increasingly interested in digital formats but still continue to use my trusty old Canon AE1 for the majority of my black & white work. I also have a beautiful Rolleiflex TLR 2.8 which I use for street photograpy.

Although I'm told it's something I shouldn't shout about I do have a passing interest in London's subterranean transport system. It's the oldest in the world, has a massive cultural legacy and gets me quickly to (almost) anywhere I want in London through massive tubes bored hundreds of feet beneath the surface. Brill.
