Dictionaries

Computer-based dictionaries can be a lot more accessible than the traditional paper-based version for many reasons. Many people with literacy difficulties would struggle to find a word in a large dictionary and then read the (probably fairly complex) definition in its small print. A computer-based dictionary allows access without having to spell the word and turn over endless pages and then allows the definition to be read aloud using text-to-speech.
