
Pal Pad switches are a little similar to glide pads found on a laptop, except they won't move the mouse pointer. They require a very slight touch (33g of force) across the entire coloured area. Because of this they are suitable for people with muscular dystrophy and other muscular weakness.
Although the switch element itself is robust the connection of the cable to the switch itself can easily be pulled apart.
Pal Pads are available in five colours and three sizes, all of which are very thin (about 3mm):
