I am a recognised figure in the field of assistive technology where I have been promoting the benefits of using technology to support adults and children with disabilities since 1999.
I have seven years’ experience taking assessments covering a wide range of disabilities including dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties, visual impairment and physical difficulties. I have worked for NHS PCTs, LEAs and charities including AbilityNet where I was lead assessor for physical difficulties. I was also a regional validator for the government’s Communication Aids Project ensuring that assessments were being performed to a high standard across the south west of England.
I have a great deal of experience in tutoring service users and training professionals in the use of technology to support people with disabilities. My clients include school pupils, university students, teachers, occupational therapists, speech & language therapists and users of assistive technology in a wide variety of workplaces.
My services include needs assessments, 1:1 tutoring and training in assisitve technology. My prices and service depends on the environment in which we are working:
